2024 Power Rankings – Week 7

  1. The Bonkers (5-2; Anthony DiMinno): Ya know how I said ‘Fantasy is easy when you play Pat’? It’s apparently even easier the next week when you play Jimmy. No matter though, Ant’s team dropped the second best performance of the week (ofc behind Pat a week after he plays him, but I digress). Ant’s team has started to roll, and is our first team to 5 wins this season. For those of you down the list, no one has been punished with a 5-win season, which I am now dubbing the “Doris” line.

2. Lambeau Leapin’ Lambs (4-3; Evan Clayton): Sometimes, even Barkley and Henry cannot do all of the work, and still get you a win. Outside of the aforementioned players, Evan’s team was rather quiet this week. Not really too much to worry about with this group, in my opinion; onto the next.

3. Grimace Deez Nuts Please (4-3; Greg Flohs): Someone on Greg’s team always seems to be hurt shortly after kickoff. This week’s player – Deebo Samuel. Greg’s team appears to be one of the more formidable lineups in the BFL, but health is too important of a factor. He finds himself against Pat in week 8 with a chance to hit the “Doris” line.

4. The Nightman Cometh (4-3; Craig Stalowski): I’m really starting to dig Craig’s team; they’re looking really good. It’s just a damn shame that Godwin is done for the year, that’s a phenomenally hard player to recreate for your lineup. Things are looking even tougher for Craig in week 8 against a surging Ant.

5. Team Maxson (4-3; Johnathan Maxson): Johnathan stacks another win as Joe Mixon took all the fantasy work for the Texans, and Evan’s team outside of his RBs were a little too quiet. Johnathan finds himself among the teams that will most likely be vying for a playoff spot in the coming weeks, and this team ain’t looking too bad to do it.

6. Milk Milk Lemonade (4-3; Sean Washington): Sean’s team played well and had an easy matchup, which led to a winning record halfway through the season. However, the Monkey’s Paw curled at this result as Mike Evans will be out for the next few weeks. If Sean can just get some more wins under his belt in his absence, all will be okay.

7. Phoenixville Horn Dogs (4-3; John Williams): Hungover from his birthday, John’s team decided to slog through their week 7 matchup against Sean. Honestly, it was a miracle that they weren’t even the worst team of week 7. John’s team, though, sits in a nice spot at the halfway mark, and I think is poised for a postseason push.

8. IHOP for Touchdowns (3-4; Pat Masur): Pat found himself a much-needed win in week 7 against Nick – and on top of that – Pat’s team was the best team of the week. Even with Nico Collins on IR, Pat’s team still has some bite to them, but his face Grimaces looking at his week 8 matchup.

9. Gettleman’s Hog Mollies (3-4; Jimmy Campbell): Man, Jimmy’s team is quickly becoming a ‘dark-horse’ for opening a Lemonade stand this year. Outside of Josh Allen and Breece Hall, there’s not much going on with this team recently. Hopefully, Tua returning to Miami will raise Waddle’s stock and Smith and Williams bounce back. If not, I’ve got some potential bad news for you, Jimmy

10. Sparta Waffle Eaters (3-4; Josh Tucci): Josh kept Cooper on the bench week 1, Mahomes keeps throwing INTs, and no one else outside of the Broncos Defense played well for Josh in week 7. Another abysmal week as Josh’s team is average 84pts per week this season. 7 weeks to go Josh, a couple more wins to that “Doris” line.

11. Fantasy Football Team (2-5; Steve Katz): Steve finds himself in a pleasant streak – a winning streak, if you will. Steve is slowly, but surely getting himself out of this hole he has found himself in. I think the post-season would be a miracle for him, but he’s no longer my favorite to be serving lemonade to his community.

12. K9 Dawg Pound (2-5; Nick Calabrase): Nick has found himself in the basement with a 2-5 record – and not only that – but he’s 120pts back from his tiebreaker with Steve. Currently, there is only 1 team in the BFL whom Nick has more PF than this season – Josh. Now officially past the halfway mark, Nick needs to start banking some wins in hopes of getting out of this predicament.
